Today begins with a fabulous breakfast at our Palazzo, then a glorious and relaxed hike along the Anello della Rupe, “the ring of the rock”. You’ll soak in and savor the expansiveness of the Italian countryside and perhaps ponder the mysteries locked within the ancient Etruscan walls that guide our path. 

Back in town, we make our way along Corso Cavour, the heartbeat of the city, until arrive at one of the world’s greatest masterpieces: Il Duomo — a heavenly structure of gleaming mosaics, glistening stained glass and captivating Gothic sculptures. In the presence of such exquisite beauty, you feel present, your senses alive and open to possibility.

Inspired by this wonder as well as quality of life in Orvieto, you’ll begin to create your one-of-a-kind ‘connection collection’ journal. Your journal, designed and made by you, is an invitation to slow down and pay attention to your wants, dreams and to what lights you up. You literally are creating a blank page for a new vision for yourself and your life!

In the afternoon you will freely explore on your own. Maybe you’ll have an insanely leisureful gelato tasting between two artisinale, homemade (and rivaling) gelato makers a few steps away from each other — L'Officina Del Gelato, a Sicilian gelato which delivers on passion and bursts of quality flavor in every spoonful, and Gelateria Il Gelato Di Pasqualetti, which specializes in unique, unforgettable, seasonal recipes. We’ll re-group for evening gathering / reflection / sharing, with a magnificent sunset as our backdrop, overlooking the rolling green hills of the Umbrian countryside.

Then we’ll delight in a leisurely dinner with new local friends at Enoteca Duomo. As you taste the best of Orvieto’s cuisine, sharing in our superb meal together under the stars and in the glow of the Cathedral, you begin to find yourself slowing down and experiencing il dolce vita — the magic of what Italians have been brewing and nurturing for millennia.
